Back to the Blog !

Hey Guys & Gals,

It has been a very long time since my last post. Things sure have been busy in the Storm Awesome camp. Recent developments have lead us to opening up two more divisions in The Storm Awesome Project. We now have a running Rehearsal Room with PA and mics and skeleton kit. We have some great bands that have started rehearsing there and next year we are looking at some new ideas. We have also opened up Storm Awesome Drum Tuition catering for beginner to intermediate drum lessons. I have added some links to photos at the bottom of this link so that you can check photos of the Rehearsal Room/Tuition space. I have also gotten affiliated with House Of Rock who specialize in tuition of guitar, bass, vocal and drums and I will be their Edenvale satellite.

This month has sure been one for shows too. Energy Related had their first show on the 5th September at Tanz Cafe. The show was organized by Wired Sound Studios who recorded our recent album. The response we received was super intense and from now we are looking at doing a lot more shows so keep a look out.

I have also started sessioning back with my ole' time mates The Carniwhores. We have done a show recently with Fuzigish which literally brought the roof of Rumours down. I have never seen that place so packed before. We also supported Low Profile up from Durban on their Vulgar Tour and played at the new Riderz Bar & Grill in Edenvale. And last week we did a "back to the Bo" show. I have heard our recently mastered tracks and as a warning I will say this will blow your head off.

Jenna Sighed has been busy in rehearsals with a game plan of some new songs. All of which are challenging, intense and magical. We have some shows set up for October as well as looking to get in studio as a live band. So definitely looking forward to the future vibes !
